As of late, Asics has been using the chili asics sneakers theme on a lot of their sneakers. Models such as the Asics Gel Lyte 5 and the GT II have all rocked the chili look and now the same theme is placed on the Asics Gel Lyte 3. Dubbed the Black Chili , let s take a look at the brand new colorway on the classic Asics model. The shoe starts off with a black suede upper. The black base is contrasted by the grey and red (chili) accents placed all over the shoe. The upper will be resting on top of a white GEL-cushioned sole to clean things up a bit. A little bit of red and black is spotted on the back portion of the midsole to compliment the motif of the upper. If you re diggin this look on the Gel Lyte 3, you can no pick up a pair at select retailer for $110.

Denim and polka-dots. That s not a combination we re used to hearing, right? Asics felt like both meshed well together so they went ahead and placed it on the Asics Gel Lyte 5. Let s take look and see what the shoe ended up looking like. The Gel Lyte 5 asics gel lyte 3 comes in a tonal upper done out of suede and denim materials coming in an Indian Ink colorway. Accompanying the denim and suede is the black neoprene bootie that matches the laces. The polka-dot print is placed on top of the denim material to give the shoe its distinctive look. Adding some contrast to the shoe is the tan-colored GEL-cushioned midsole and rubber outsole. Are you a fan of the asics gel kayano 21 look? Check out these two new sneakers coming out of Asics. The Asics GT-Cool Express Block Pack tries on color-blocking on for size and it looks pretty good doing it. The first pair comes in a burgundy and grey colorway in a color blocked fashion. Burgundy leather is placed on the back portion of the shoe, while grey suede can be seen on the front portion of the shoe. The second pair comes with black suede in the front and grey leather on the heel. A white midsole with a contrasting outsole complete the theme of the shoe. Are you a fan of the color block look? The Asics Gel Lyte 3 looks to switch things up a bit this Spring season by placing canvas construction on their uppers. Today we take a two colorways that will be sporting that look. Coming in either red or black, both versions of the shoe opts to go with canvas uppers done up in a tonal motif. The only area on the upper that does not come in a canvas construction are the leather stripes on the side panels. The monochromatic look of the upper take care of the laces, branding on the side panels and lining. The only thing offsetting tonal look is the Gel Lyte 3 branding on the heel area. Below the upper you will find a white speckled midsole paired up with a gum bottom outsole. Like what you see? Expect to see these arrive stateside in the near future.

Last week we received our first good look at Ronnie Fieg s latest upcoming collaboration with Asics. Today Ronnie announced that the shoes will be releasing one week from today. The Ronnie Fieg x Asics GT-Cool Express Sterling will be releasing on March 4th in unisex sizing according to Ronnie Fieg. This release includes premium materials including suede and mesh with soft and subtle tones on the upper. A soft grey can be seen dominating most of the shoe while cream, pink and blue accents also make an appearance. With Easter approaching, Asics presents two iterations of its popular runners, consisting of the Gel Saga and classic Gel Lyte Speed. Both rendered in light pastel tones to perfectly coordinate with the season, the low-top sneakers are comprised of smooth asics nimbus 17 suede across the upper with perforations across to enhance breathability throughout the construction. With one furnished in green colorway paired with a classic blue liner, the other pair receives the same color treatment, although in a reverse manner. All resting atop a white midsole unit with subtle dark speckling on the heel portion, the models are finished off with coral accents located on the laces, outsole and signature leather formstripe branding across its side panels. Additional branding can be seen along the collar section as well.
