Patience pays off Patience pays offNovember 30th, 2012 byJackson Hart AssociatesMy client, Sue, had a very specific search area for her next home. ?Anytime a home came on RMLS in this area, we both made it a priority to see it! ?Well, Sue wasnt the only Buyer who thought this was a great house…there ended up being a total of 7 offers! ?I made my suggestions to write a strong offer and Sue listened to her heart to put her best foot forward. I also asked her to write a letter to the Seller about who she is, why the home spoke to her and why she deserved to be the next owner. ?When I got the call from the listing agent that Sues offer was accepted and she was absolutely thrilled! ?When Sue got the keys, the Seller had left her a beautiful letter about why her offer was selected (it wasnt the highest offer). ?It just made everything fall into place.I know shell make this home a wonderful place for new memories and experiences with family and friends! No?l Jackson tiffany lamp Exciting Coat Racks Ikea Photograph And Furniture Design Inspiration With Coat Hanger Stand And Diy Wooden Coat Hooks tiffany lamps for sale One of the most important--and beautiful--industrial archives in the world, the Wedgwood Collection, ?could be sold off unless the UK's Art Fund can raise?£2.7 million in three months' time, according to the Independent.
Valued at?£15.7m, the collection of ceramics, paintings, and manuscripts from the famed manufacturer (founded 1759) in Staffordshire, UK, will go to auction at Christie's if the fundraising is not successful. The Art Fund, the Heritage Lottery and charitable trusts have already raised the majority of funds needed and it is up to the public to fulfill the final amount by Nov. 30. The effort is the largest ever to keep British treasures in the U.K.
UNESCO has called the Wedgwood Collection “unparalleled in its diversity and breadth.” The public appeal for funds stems from debt accrued by Waterford Wedgwood that was transferred to the Wedgwood Museum. A High Court judge ruled that the museum was responsible for the company's debt and would have to sell its collection to pay it off.

Stoke's MP Tristram Hunt said of the Wedgwood Collection:?“We need to do all we can to make sure it remains as a source of pride and heritage, as a source of inspiration and a collection that tells the remarkable story of north Staffordshire’s contribution to global history.”

This stretch of history, known as The Hudson River School Art Trail, leads visitors to the sites that inspired America’s first great landscape painters by mapping the sites that inspired works of art by Hudson River School painters Thomas Cole, Frederic Church, Asher B. Durand, Jasper Cropsey, Sanford Gifford and other pioneering American artists. For more information about the Hudson River School Art Trail, visit http:///trail or call (518) 943-7465.The Art Trail, which is open for walking and hiking through October 31, brings together a series of eight sites where Hudson River School artists created some of their most recognizable works. The trail showcases breathtaking views of the landscapes appearing in Hudson River School works not only from the Thomas Cole Site and Olana but also landmarks that inspired the artists such as Catskill Creek, Kaaterskill Clove, Kaaterskill Falls, North-South Lake, Sunset Rock and Pine Orchard, the site of the former Catskill Mountain House. A number of these sites now feature outdoor exhibits with reproductions and historical background of the awe-inspiring paintings.“Rising to eminence in New York during the mid-nineteenth century, this group of artists forged a self-conciously ‘American’ landscape vision for what was still a relatively new nation,” says Elizabeth Jacks, Executive Director of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site. “The artists were united by their belief that their art might lead to spiritual renewal and contribute to the formation of a uniquely American national culture.”A celebration of America’s first major art movement, the Hudson River School Art Trail is a project of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, made possible through a partnership with Olana New York State Historic Site, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the National Park Service Rivers and Trails program, with assistance from the Greene County Tourism Promotion Department.Whether making plans for summer outings or planning ahead for leaf-peeping season, a visit to the Art Trail should definitely be added to any itinerary for a visit to New York’s Hudson River Valley. The Thomas Cole Historic Site, historically known as Cedar Grove, is where the artist Thomas Cole lived, worked, was married, and where he died at the age of 47. Today the site consists of the Federal style brick home (c. 1815) in which Thomas Cole resided with his family, as well as the artist's original studio building, on five landscaped acres with a magnificent view of the Catskill Mountains.Directions
The Thomas Cole Historic Site is located at 218 Spring Street in Catskill, New York, near the western entrance to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, with easy access from the New York State Thruway, Exit 21.I truly adore Facebook, and encourage everyone to join up. Sure roll your eyes but its good fun and surprisingly informative. You can review books, music, travel and throw a sheep at your friends. I feel so young yet so hip. Try it. So Shawn sent me a Green award, and I threw a potted plant at him in return(virtually of course). Because Facebook allows outside applications, they have cool edits. This one was on Green specifically critiques on your lifestyle and ways to improve yourr footprint.zzzzzz

They asked about towels...and I started thinking about towels. Paper towels and cotton towels, what if I stopped using paper towels in bathrooms and reused my towels after I showered. Well, I would use less paper, and less drying time which would lessen my footprint.

Some of these posts may sound a little earthy crunchy, but it is not an inconvenience. Most of these tips save money and require no real effort. If the 150 or so people reading this could convince 10 people, it would be a good starttiffany lamps
