WOW Classic Gold Blizzard has had to deal with major DDOS attacks on servers for World of Warcraft Classic among others last weekend. The attacks caused connection problems for players of multiple games.
The DDOS attacks started on Saturday buy Vanilla WOW Gold which then led to downtime for American players. The attack was claimed via Twitter by an account now suspended with the name UKDrillas. The report referred to an attack specifically on American pvp WoW servers but other games such as Overwatch were also hit. It is not known whether the people behind that account were actually responsible for the attacks.
The attacks continued on Sunday and Monday night. Blizzard reported on Sunday that some of his players were bothered by the connection problems but later the company announced that all World of Warcraft Realms were back online except for Rattlegore. On Monday morning Blizzard stated that the attacks continued and that the company continues to monitor them. Bizzard did not disclose details about the attacks yet.
At the World of Warcraft Classic forum many users complain that Blizzard is unable to resist the DDOS attacks. In the past many game services have been victims of DDOS attacks which are inexpensive to perform but difficult to avert.
