Now it’s time to see where all 32 teams rank. For reference purposes Customized Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys , here is a link to last week’s NFL Power Rankings.BLG’S WEEK 2 NFL POWER RANKINGS1 - Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week: 1) - The reigning Super Bowl champions are still on top after managing to defeat Atlanta for the second time in 2018. The Eagles’ offense is off to a slow start with Nick Foles under center but Philadelphia’s defense is looking pretty good. It appears Carson Wentz’s return might soon be on the horizon. 2 - New England Patriots (LW: 2) - The reigning Super Bowl losers look poised to maintain their dominance in the AFC East. 3 - Green Bay Packers (LW: 3) - In the comments of last week’s rankings, some questioned why the Packers were ranked so high. Still have any questions after watching Aaron Rodgers’ comeback performance against Chicago? 4 - Minnesota Vikings (LW: 6) - The Vikings’ defense looked much improved from their last meaningful outing back in January. 38-7. 5 - Los Angeles Rams (LW: 9) - The Rams took care of a bad Oakland team. 6 - Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 10) - Pat Mahomes to Tyreek Hill figures to be a pretty lethal connection. No surprise to see Andy Reid has the Chiefs looking like a strong regular season team once again.7 - Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 7) - The Jags weren’t overly impressive in their five-point win over the G-Men but they still held on for the W. Blake Bortles being bad prevents me from moving this team up. 8 - New Orleans Saints (LW: 3) - The Saints’ defense was horrible for years before it improved last season. Is New Orleans regressing back to the mean? It’s too early to say for sure, of course, but allowing 48 points at home to the Bucs certainly isn’t a good start. On the bright side, this team can still score a ton of points. 9 - Atlanta Falcons (LW: 5) - Steve Sarkisian is going to be on the hot seat if Atlanta’s offensive issues don’t get fixed. 10 - Carolina Panthers (LW: 12) - The Panthers got an important win but they also suffered some key injuries with veteran tight end Greg Olsen and starting right tackle Daryl Williams having to leave the game early. 11 - Baltimore Ravens (LW: 17) - Baltimore basically got to play a sixth preseason game. They absolutely demolished a bad Bills team. Joe Flacco looked much better than he has in a long time. 12 - Washington Redskins (LW: 14) - Although they only beat a bad Arizona team, Washington clearly looks like the second best squad in the NFC East. 13 - Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 8) - The Stillers almost lost to a team that was 1-31 in their last two seasons. Add in the Le’Veon Bell drama and Pittsburgh is not off to a good start. 14 - Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 11) - The Bolts had a chance to make an early statement that they’re the best team in the AFC West. They did not make that statement. In fairness, they had to play another road game at home.15 - San Francisco 49ers (LW: 13) - Jimmy Garoppolo is no longer undefeated as a starting quarterback. Jimmy G threw three interceptions in the 49ers’ first game of the season. San Francisco was facing a tough opponent but maybe it’s time to slow down the San Fran hype. 16 - Denver Broncos (LW: 22) - Case Keenum threw three interceptions but he also threw three touchdowns and it was enough to allow the Broncos to get a three-point win at home. 17 - Tampa Bay Buccaners (LW: 29) - Heading into the season, the Bucs seemed like a sure-fire bottom five team. Maybe they still end up there but they certainly didn’t look bad in Week 1. Ryan Fitzpatrick helped his team drop 48 points in New Orleans. Will Fitz come crashing back to Earth against Philadelphia’s defense? We’ll soon see.18 - New York Jets (LW: 25) - Sam Darnold showed the makings of a franchise quarterback during the Jets’ trouncing of Detroit on Monday Night Football. Second best team in the AFC East, at worst.19 - Houston Texans (LW: 15) - Is Deshaun Watson truly as good as everyone thought he was last year? Against the Pats http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles.com , he completed 50% of his attempts for a mere 176 yards and a 62.9 passer rating. 20 - Seattle Seahawks (LW: 18) - Seattle hasn’t completely fallen off a cliff but they’re just not the same team they were at their peak. 21 - Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 23) - Cincy came up with a big turnover late in the game to spoil the Colts’ comeback hopes on Sunday. 22 - Chicago Bears (LW: 21) - The Bears were looking pretty good in the first half against Green Bay. Khalil Mack was playing like a monster. Then Rodgers came back and things were different. I’m still pretty skeptical of Mitchell Trubisky, who averaged just 4.9 yards per attempt on Sunday night. 23 - Dallas Cowboys (LW: 19) - Dak Prescott hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since Week 14 last season. He straight up looked bad against Carolina. You can try to blame his surrounding situation for his struggles but there were times when he was simply failing to throw accurate passes to wide open targets. 24 - Miami Dolphins (LW: 31) - Maybe the Dolphins are more mediocre than I originally gave them credit for. 25 - Tennessee Titans (LW: 20) - Marcus Mariota threw two interceptions before he got hurt and Blaine Gabbert had to come in. As much as it pains me to say, I think Mariota might just not be good. 26 - Indianapolis Colts (LW: 24) - Andrew Luck threw 53 passes in his first regular season start since 2016. Even though the Colts lost, I’d say that’s an encouraging sign moving forward. 27 - Cleveland Browns (LW: 32) - At 0-0-1, the Browns are off to their best start since their 2004 season. Seriously. 28 - New York Giants (LW: 26) - The Giants’ offensive line is still pretty trash. Eli Manning is also clearly washed. Never forget the G-Men passed on a potential franchise quarterback at No. 2 in order to take a running back. 29 - Oakland Raiders (LW: 27) - The Raiders really gave Jon Gruden a 10-year, $100 million contract. 30 - Detroit Lions (LW: 16) - Matt Patricia defenses have allowed 89 points in his last two games combined. To make matters worse, Matthew Stafford arguably played his worst game as a member of the Lions.31 - Arizona Cardinals (LW: 28) - This team is going nowhere fast with Sam Bradford. Total waste of resources. Just give Josh Rosen a chance to see what he can do. 32 - Buffalo Bills (LW: 30) - What the eff is this team even doing? They’re not even trying to win by starting Nathan Peterman.Eagles Injury Report: Alshon Jeffery among five players to miss practice The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The following five players missed practice: Derek Barnett, Corey Clement, Fletcher Cox Philadelphia Eagles T-Shirt , Alshon Jeffery, and Darren Sproles. That’s a lot of important people there.Barnett is dealing with a shoulder issue that didn’t prevent him from playing the most snaps of any Eagles defensive end in Week 4. I would guess he’ll be OK for this week.Clement is still missing time with a quad issue. Doug Pederson said he kept Clement out in Week 4 as a “precaution” and described the second-year running back as “day-to-day.” We’ll have to see how Clement progresses this week.Pederson lumped Sproles into the same boat as Clement. “Day-to-day.” The Eagles could really use at least one of Sproles or Clement back due to their third down back abilitiesCox is dealing with an ankle issue that caused him to come out for a little bit in the Eagles-Titans game. I’d guess the Eagles are taking it easy on him so he’ll be ready for Sunday. The Inquirer reports there’s “nothing to worry about” with Cox.Jeffery is listed with a chest issue. It did look like he got a little banged up at one point during last week’s game but he didn’t miss much playing time. The Inquirer reports there’s “nothing to worry about” with Jeffery’s status.Jason Peters was a limited participant on Wednesday. Peters is still dealing with the quad issue that forced him to leave the Eagles’ Week 2 game early. On Peters’ injury, Pederson said “from time to time it flares up on him.” The Eagles are likely taking it easy on their 36-year-old left tackle leading up to Sunday. It’s still early in the week to know for sure who will be missing from the Eagles’ Week 5 game. We’ll find out more based on Thursday’s report. Cook had 10 carries for a mere 20 yards (2.0 average) and no reception against the Rams last week. Mike Zimmer told reporters that Griffen won’t return to the Vikings until Week 6 at the earliest, so it looks like the Eagles won’t have to face him.Backup corner and kick/punt returner Marcus Sherels returned to practice after missing the last two games. He was limited. Starting defensive lineman Linval Joseph was also limited.DID NOT PARTICIPATECB Trae Waynes (concussion)RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring)DE Everson Griffen (knee/not injury related)LIMITED PARTICIPATIONDE Tashawn Bower (ankle)CB Marcus Sherels (ribs)NT Linval Joseph (shoulder)FULL PARTICIPATIONLS Kevin McDermott (finger)LB Eric Kendricks (elbow)WR Laquon Treadwell (finger)DT Tom Johnson (ankle)OT Riley Reiff (foot)S Anthony Harris (hamstring)
